Entrepreneurship Simulation
An Immersive, one-day entrepreneurship experience.
Build a Business. Raise Capital. Scale.
What does it take to turn an idea into a successful business? From identifying a market opportunity and developing a commercial strategy to securing investment, managing cash flow, and navigating competition, students experience the challenges of building and growing a company.
Working in teams, students establish their own ventures, make strategic and financial decisions, respond to changing market conditions, and compete for investment. The experience culminates in an investor presentation, where each team must defend its business model, demonstrate its commercial potential, and make the case for further funding.
Students will gain experience in:
Business models and commercial strategy
Market research and competitive positioning
Financial planning and cash flow management
Venture capital and investment negotiations
Marketing, branding, and customer acquisition
Business growth and strategic decision-making
Investor presentations and pitching
Students work in teams to develop and operate a new business, navigating commercial opportunities and unexpected challenges along the way. Decisions have consequences, resources are finite, and success depends on sound judgement, financial discipline, and strategic thinking.
The simulation concludes with an investor presentation, bringing together the commercial, financial, and entrepreneurial skills developed throughout the day.
Expert-led Instruction
Led by experienced entrepreneurs and business leaders, the programme draws on expertise developed at institutions including Harvard Business School and McKinsey & Company, alongside first-hand experience of founding, scaling, and successfully exiting businesses.
