Cancellation & Refund Policy

Effective November 2026.

Crawford & Corry is committed to providing high-quality educational programmes, professional experiences, and mentorship opportunities. Our programmes often involve limited places, advance preparation, and the commitment of specialist mentors and professionals.

When a booking is confirmed, a place is reserved specifically for the student. Places are limited, and accepting a booking may mean declining other prospective students. Customers are therefore expected to consider their availability carefully before confirming a booking.

This policy applies to all bookings made with Crawford & Corry, including masterclasses, simulations, mentorship programmes, university preparation courses, and other educational programmes, unless separate programme-specific terms have been provided.

1. Booking Confirmation

A booking is confirmed once payment has been received or the booking has otherwise been agreed in writing by Crawford & Corry.

By confirming a booking, the customer accepts responsibility for ensuring that the student is available to attend the programme on the advertised dates and times.

2. Statutory Cancellation Rights

Nothing in this policy affects any statutory rights available to customers under applicable consumer protection legislation.

Where a booking is subject to the statutory 14-day cancellation period under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, customers may cancel within that period without providing a reason.

Where a programme is scheduled to commence within the statutory 14-day cancellation period, any applicable cancellation rights and charges will be handled in accordance with consumer protection legislation.

3. Customer Cancellations and Withdrawals

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to enquiries@crawfordcorry.com.

Cancellations received more than 14 days before the programme commencement date will ordinarily qualify for a full refund.

For cancellations received within 14 days of the programme commencement date, refunds will ordinarily only be issued where the cancelled place is successfully filled by another student. Any refund will take account of reasonable administrative costs and any financial losses incurred as a result of the cancellation.

Where a place cannot be filled, Crawford & Corry reserves the right to retain an appropriate proportion of the programme fee, up to the full amount where justified by the financial loss incurred.

This policy is subject to applicable statutory cancellation rights.

4. Transfers and Substitutions

Requests to transfer a booking to another student or to an alternative programme must be submitted in writing and are subject to Crawford & Corry's prior approval.

Transfers are not guaranteed and will be considered subject to availability, suitability, and any programme-specific requirements.

Where a transfer is approved, any applicable difference in programme fees will be payable by the customer.

5. Non-Attendance and Withdrawal After Commencement

Failure to attend a programme, arriving late, or withdrawing after a programme has commenced does not automatically entitle the customer to a refund, credit, or replacement session, subject always to applicable statutory rights.

For programmes comprising multiple sessions, non-attendance at individual sessions or a decision to withdraw partway through the programme does not ordinarily entitle the customer to a proportionate refund.

The full programme fee remains payable regardless of attendance, subject to applicable statutory rights.

6. Illness and Exceptional Circumstances

Customers should notify Crawford & Corry as soon as possible if illness, family emergencies, or other exceptional circumstances prevent a student from attending.

Any request for an exception to this policy will be considered on its individual merits. Crawford & Corry may, at its discretion, offer a transfer, alternative programme, replacement session, or partial refund.

The granting of an exception in one instance does not establish an entitlement to similar treatment in future cases.

7. Programme Changes and Cancellations by Crawford & Corry

Crawford & Corry reserves the right to make reasonable changes to programme schedules, mentors, content, delivery arrangements, or venues where necessary.

Customers will be notified of any material changes as soon as reasonably practicable.

If Crawford & Corry cancels a programme and is unable to provide a suitable alternative, customers will receive a full refund of the programme fee paid.

Where an alternative date or arrangement is offered, customers may choose whether to accept it or receive an applicable refund.

8. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will ordinarily be returned using the original payment method, unless otherwise agreed or required by law.

Refunds will be processed as soon as reasonably practicable and, where statutory cancellation rights apply, within the applicable statutory timeframe.

The time taken for funds to appear in a customer's account will depend on their bank or card issuer.

9. Programme-Specific Terms

Certain programmes, including international placements, bespoke educational engagements, and programmes involving third-party providers, may be subject to additional cancellation provisions.

Where applicable, these provisions will be communicated to customers before a booking is confirmed and will apply alongside this general policy.

In the event of any inconsistency, the relevant programme-specific terms will take precedence to the extent applicable.
